Ruptured Disc
A ruptured disc is a way of describing a disc that has had its outer fibers torn and the inner material of the disc has broken through and is now located outside of the disc.
It is extremely painful and often compresses the adjacent spinal nerves and on occasion can press upon the spinal canal itself causing spinal canal stenosis…a very serious problem.
